We know that covering the cost of childcare isn’t always easy, which is why the government offer 15 and 30 hours funding.
Designed to give working families up to 30 hours funded childcare a week (1,140 hours per year), it could help you save on your childcare costs at First Steps.
Every family’s different, so whatever your childcare needs, come and talk to us as we can find the best option for you.
We’ll help you understand how the scheme works and how funding is used at First Steps.
At First Steps we accommodate for 2-year-old funded and 3-year-old funded children. We are open 50 weeks of the year so can stretch the funding, so you receive funding across 12 months.
To get the 30 hours government funding you need to meet certain criteria to be eligible for the additional funding. A code needs to obtained and shared with the nursery, this needs to be managed and reviewed by parents/careers on a termly basis.
